Change the fitting cost of their modules so these basic frames arent able to fit a near complete set of proto gear. If this doesn't change , then the next two tiers will probablt Y be unstoppable.

I'd like to first just fix the bugged Militia Nitro from the 100% to what it is supposed to be, 10%, and then see how HAVs perform.

Or you can just relearn how to kill tanks and stop thinking this is 1.0-1.6. "Adapt or die" and all that. You know, the crap AV said when tanks were PG crippled and could be killed by mass drivers. When invisible swarms plagued the battlefield, when forge guns could hide behind draw distance. When you could squat on a nanohive and huck Hacked EXOs from behind a hill. I'm infantry and I'm saying this. Pick your nuts up and relearn how to pop HAV. Once those modules wear off, they're easier to kill than in 1.0.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Roll back the tank chances keep the AV changes.
Thats how you fix tanks.
Functional indestructability has no place in a game like dust.
Basically its going to be tank spam until it gets fixed.
Tanks are now FOTM. (And drop ships too - I had me and two other guys with swarms shooting at a dropship, he got to half armour, hit a button then ZIP back up to full everything, his ability to rep damage way outstripped our ability to inflict it).
Ive heard people say "wait until the shiney stops then hit him and he will blow up - stop whining etc".
True, but the problem with this is the skill required to figure this out is very low, soon Dust will degenerate into tag teaming tanks, 2 forward, 2 back taking turns with thier functional indestructibility.
Ive also hear it argued that people should just spawn tanks.
Yes that might work, however its likely then that the game will revolve around that one initial tank battle at the beginning to decide who gets tank dominance. After that, its tag teaming tanks again.
Ultimately the solution is fill out the game with content than balance it. It is clear that the piecemeal balancing isn't working, because every balance pass seems to mess stuff up all the more. The only people who arn't complaining right now are the tank drivers, which I imagine are going to get a population explosion very soon (or now).

You can't fit out a talentless scrub in an all militia dropsuit and expect him to get all manner of kills. Take that same talentless noob and toss him into an all militia tank, and that changes entirely. He may even kill some prototype suits or a vehicle or two, all for the cost of no skill investment and an advanced suit.

I can use a militia BPO suit and fit and get 25+ kills and kill protosuits
By your logic that fit is OP because a milita tank can rack up kills and also kill proper tanks |

Also keep in mind that many of your pre existing skills are buffing the militia gear that you're using, where a workable militia tank requires basically no skills to operate, and doesn't gain a whole lot directly from those skills either (most are related to how fast you get back into combat, not how effective you are once in combat)
How people think an even remotely viable tank under 100K is a good idea....

I agree with the idea, but not untill we actually get proto tanks and such. Its hard to balance stuff when most of the tacial content is missing. Just like heavies
