Im playing FW with my squad, the map where E-A-D are on the outside and theres a compund with B-C
We take E-A-D, and hold them while the team fights B-C, sometimes we have them, sometimes we dont.
Then i look at my team chat, and i see something like "guns ready", and i see the orbital available thing.
we are being attacked on E by a tank, so i call it in. It destroyed the tank, fu**** up a dropship, and killed a blueberry (cant be helped lol)
So the pilot says somehting like "good effect"
Then a tank starts hitting us from the redline and i call another one. i hear the sound, but see no fireworks.
On team chat the pilot says something like: " sorry, missed your called by accident and answered a maggot"
I tell him: "its okay, but a tank is hammering us from the redline"
Then a second pilot says, "OB ready in 60 seconds", "wich call should i answer?"
I tell him "mine", he notes that hes using hybrid ammunition.
So as im about to call it in the tank in the redline, a tank appears next to me in echo, guns blazing.
I called the orbital on him, get a hitmarker, and then the batle ends before the ****** gets destroyed :(
But i liked that, chating with the pilots, knowing that they are fighting up there as well

It's nice that pilots actually have a reason to come help in a match. Haven't seen two pilots duke it out yet.

EvE guys have been loving it apprenty, also apprently hunter fleets are forming to chase away bombarment guys. Once we can foucse are attack in a system the fireworks will really fly :-)

Sweet. This is the best thing I've read in a while about DUST.

Hybrids are now able to destroy tanks? The downside to them is the range though. Makes it hard not to kill blueberries. I prefer laser strikes. |

I forgot to add how when the tank appeared in echo, we had to hide, and when i read "OB in 60"
I was like: Ok you mofos, distract the thing, keep it in the open, we have to hold him for 1 minute
and my guys were like: How much till the ob, we cant hold much longer.
Then i see "OB available", and feel relief as i mark the tank, too bad the game ended before it got destroyed |

The pilot grouped his weapons and was able to answer about 3 to 5 orbital calls every 3 minutes. Damn. At one time there was a whole street being a ******* deathzone. I stood at the edge of that. Pilot got 92k LP. Motherfucking awesome I tell you.
Souns sick mate, this is what this game its supposed to be, i can imagine the other team thinking "What the f*** are our pilots doing" |
