Well, the title pretty much says it all (or abbreviates it). When I heard about friendly fire and the limit, I said to myself, "Pants old chap, you needn't worry yourself. You know how to handle your **** and keep in check. You'll never be kicked." Lo and behold, on the first day of my 1.7 FW experience... I get kicked. Not because I teamkilled, not because I carelessly blew up a vehicle, or even an installation. Why was I kicked? Well, my guess is that it was because I had some remotes near each other, and when I blew them they damaged each other. I remember reading that equipment counts towards the damage. This needs to be changed asap. If I can't even blow up my own explosives then the FF system is way too ******* touchy I'll be spreading my REs thinner from now on, but honestly this is completely stupid.

well first never have more then 1 re active in FW, next never leave one lieing around forgotten, it will always result in a team kill.
next constantly be aware that damaging friendly equipment will get you kicked, this is honestly the hardest part because alot of friendly equipment you don't think about, like if a red dot is hiding behind your cru and you toss a grenade to flush him out, that could result in you being kicked.
best to resort to your gun game for that one.
wide spread grenades like emp's will constantly damage both friendlies and friendly equipment for large amounts of damage even if it doesn't result in a kill, honestly it would be better to stick to cores, with the smaller blast radius, it's easier to control. |
