And so I was, going around stomping people in Factional Warfare, until I saw a hit indicator, and my armor dropped to 300.
I took cover and murmured "That sniper is going to pay for annoying me".
And pay he did.
So, I waited to regenerate (Takes forever to regen armor at 5hp/s), and while doing so I looked at the map.
I tried to figure out good sniping positions from the direction I was shot, and decided to check two spots on the same hill.
After my regen was complete, I went on foot to not attract attention, and went the long way around so the sniper won't see me.
I used my Rail Rifle to scope out his position and found him.
On my way I saw that near him, there is a rail tank and I thought to myself "Alright, I will kill the sniper, and GTFO".
I went up close to try and melee him, but my stamina was low so I waited before attacking.
And then I was shot.
I quickly killed him and took cover, to figure out what just happened.
What I saw made my eyes go wide and I almost wanted to do a shriek of joy.
6 snipers are sitting behind a hill just 30 meters away from me, and one them tried to shoot me.
I flanked around, and killed all of them, while laughing at their fail attempts to kill me with no scopes and SMG's.
I then sat there, thinking of my next move, while noticing how oblivious the Rail Tank is.
Then I heard a gun shot, and noticed that the Amarr Logi sniper was back.
I quickly dispatched of him, and looked for his uplink.
Destroyed it right after he spawned, and killed him again.
So I got bored, and decided to push the rail tank.
I shot it, meleed it, even throw a grenade at it, and it simply didn't respond.
And then I noticed behind that rail tank that Amarr Logi again.
I dispatched of him with a grenade, and tried to find his uplink.
What I found made me laugh out loud.
7 uplinks, all spaced within one square meter, right beside the tank.
That grenade not only destroyed 7 uplinks, but also killed that Amarr Logi that spawned again.
So I waited around, and noticed that the Logi isn't spawning anymore, meaning that no more uplinks are left.
Then, I noticed that the position gives me a beautiful view of the enemy spawn within the range on my Rail Rifle, so I decided to stick around.
Right under the MCC I saw a tank appear, and below it, the Amarr Logi.
I knew what he was going to do, so I called a tank of my own.
While waiting for him to come, I destroyed the Rail Tanker, and laughed as his pilot got out and was killed by the explsion.
But then I noticed I did a mistake - I activated my damage mod and resistance module to take out that tank, so when the Amarr Logi came, I had to GTFO with my fuel injector.
Since I was on a hill, my tank turned into a dropship momentarily, and I waited out the cooldown below.
I later returned, and saw a pretty funny thing.
The tanker was trying to snipe with a blaster.
I activated the plate and damage mod, and quickly dropped the tank's health to a fraction of it's armor.
While waiting for my blaster to cool down, the logi got out.
I got out myself, killed him, then got back in and destroyed his tank.
Right after that, the match ended.
This was probably the most fun match I ever had.
And all of this happened because one of that group took a potshot at me and made me angry. The butterfly effect at it's finest.Oh and of course,
I was there.
