I must say I love the gear in factional warfare, nice low prices and a cause for us to fight for cool faction technology that we love to use. I know everyone thinks Factional is like PC in a sense so should the winners of a factional warfare battle get paid like in PC? I would love to hear your thoughts. |

No.
LP is a way to get around the high ISK cost gear. It's a much needed ISK sink for those of us dedicated to the cause of the war and being able to manage our finances. You use expensive gear, you lose expensive gear. That it's it. You win for a way to get more gear for cheaper.
Go play something besides FW if you want ISK. Leave FW to us. We're fighting for something.

No isk payout, in factional warfare we do not fight for a corporation paying us but for our faction. And in return for defending our faction we receive loyalty points that can be exchanged for faction equipment. |

No, but I feel the salvage rate needs improving. Half the drop rate of PC seemed reasonable until I realised how few people run anything interesting in FW.
I got a militia AR, an enhanced shield extender, a basic CalAssault, and a militia blaster ammo pack today. Felt like I'd won the Nigerian lottery.

sorry to hijack the thread a bit but has anyone ever got any of the new guns in any salvage ? i see the majority of people using them but never had any in salvage |

Been getting RS-90s and I had gotten a Kaalakiota Rail Rifle from salvage.

Do the math people. There are already TONS of savings to be had in the LP market.
Proto suits can be bought with about 1 LP for every 500 isk you'd otherwise spend buying the isk equivalent. That means that at 1.0 standings if you get 350 LP from battle, it's like getting paid 175,000 isk. Then, if you'd make the eventual 1,000 LP or even 30,000 LP as forecasted that's like getting paid 500,000 to 15,000,000 isk.
However, protosuits seem to be one of the best deals on the market.
IOW. FW already pretty much gives you isk in the form of DRASTICALLY reduced costs for the time it takes to acquire identical items. Use your brain!! |

I've got a few combat rifles from FW salvage..
Salvage being increased would be a nice bonus to FW but we definitely need the market or at least player trading... |

I love getting loot from the battle so I don't care.

nope I see no reason why it should increase, when you hit standing level of 10 you should be earning over 50000lp per match, one win at that point would essentially earn you more proto suits then you would need in a month.
at least according to their graph released with 1.7
why would you need a larger reward? |

No, this was CCP plan, so that we don't do just FW. They did it so we have to still do pub matches to get isk , which in my opinion it can be a refreshing change from skirms . |
