I remember back in my days of playing EVE, CCP always misspelled the word "Mining Barrage" as "Mining Barge".
It always pissed me off, man.

Warbarge is correct. It is a barge (a transport craft) that transports war (infantry, vehicles, artillery, etc.) hence it is a warbarge.

I'm wondering if the OP isn't getting the wrong idea from the "warbarge" Orbital Strikes. It's a barrage that's being delivered, but it's coming the barge that's above the battlefield in space.
RDVs are a failed experiment - can't we just remove them from the game?
