You can stop it, I have a network of people who can hook you up with clones with fresh identities in the Federation. You can start a new life and never have to kill again. Do not feel guilty, the only ones you've killed are those who cannot die anyway. Not sure I can help with the mental problems, but I know a great Gallente prostitherapist that helped me through a lot of problems. She's very kind, skilled in the sexual arts, and educated in psychology.

Hm. Unless that "voice" is part of a flashback, it sounds as though you may have an unsanitized first-generation implant, soldier. I don't know how that happens anymore, but it still sometimes seems to. Getting that fixed won't fix everything if that's part of the problem, but it may reduce some of the strain your mind is under and let you cope with the rest a little better. |

With respect, not everything is a hardware issue. It's unlikely at this point that a clone would be implanted with first generation technology. More than likely you've just burnt out. Sometimes you can only do so much killing and dying in a row without losing it.
Consider taking a bit of leave to spend some time out there in the world away from war. Play baseliner for a weekend. It will clear your head.
In the moment when I truly understand my enemy, understand him well enough to defeat him, then I also love him.

It's just that the "voice" bit struck me as odd. We've heard that song before. Probably you're right, but ... perhaps it's worth checking anyway?
To the rest, I just ... sort of get tired, myself. Repeated painful death wears at you-- or at me, at least. It probably won't surprise you to hear that the killing's never bothered me, so there's only so much I can say. |

I suppose if it will (forgive the expression) put his mind at ease then Mr. Tripper can have a doc check his noggin out. It certainly wouldn't hurt. (Metaphorically speaking.)
Meanwhile, I suppose I could offer you the same advice I gave earlier. I doesn't surprise me that the killing doesn't bother you, chiefly because it has never made an impact on myself. These skirmishes we are limited to aren't worth much more than harmless bloodsport compared to the wars that raged before arguments were decided by immortals, so killing a fellow soldier doesn't really weigh down my consciousness in the least these days.
Yet, the stress of being killed does mount overtime. It used to be I'd dive headfirst into a crate of Frentix and wait for a nervous breakdown to come and leave, but I've found for more productive ways of avoiding a panic attack. Usually by taking short vacations away from deployments.
If you don't mind me asking arvumaa, when was the last time you took a night or two off with a friend? Y'know gone out and seen a movie or played pachinko?

Suicide ain't an option, you'll wake up again. Well, to be really fair. I sometimes wonder why I'm still fighting. ISK? Heh.

Standard battle fatigue, apprently the standard trooper can only withstand 52 days of a frontline environment before needing a rear postion break otherwise they risk a breakdown. I would not be supprised if a similar patter could be found for a number of deployments for a clone before they should take time off.
Trust me its not a 514 break or his walls would be coverd in blood and he would speak a foren lanague at somepoint. Take some time off trooper :-)
