Hi all,
While there have been some really nice weapons comparison charts posted as part of dev blogs and posts, (listing things like optimal/max range), there are a couple of stats that do not yet show up on in-game windows. While not having a massive impact on the in-game shooting of people in the face (then double-tapping to ensure they donGÇÖt get rezGÇÖed), adding some stats to either the item info window or the fitting screen would be helpful.
1 GÇô Range infoGǪ SCR, AR, CR, RR, SMG, HMG, LR, etcGǪ. Each one of these presumably has an optimal range and a max-effective range (like GÇ£OptimalGÇ¥ and GÇ£FalloffGÇ¥ in EVE)GǪ. But when you GÇ£show infoGÇ¥ on a gun, the range info is nowhere to be seen.
2 GÇô Shield depletion-recharge time. There is a whole module class that impacts shield depleted recharge timeGǪ and nowhere on the fitting screen does it show the impact of fitting a module.
3 GÇô While weGÇÖre at itGǪ. How about updating (or just including) your own skillsGÇÖ impact on modules. If a gun takes 50 CPU to fit and your skills reduce CPU fitting costs by 10%.... why not simply show you that the gun takes 45 CPU?
4 GÇô While weGÇÖre at it (pt.2)GǪ. As IGÇÖve been playing Dust since Chromosome, IGÇÖve got about a yearGÇÖs worth of junk located in my inventory (Normally IGÇÖd sell itGǪ but leaving that aside for a second)GǪ how about modules appearing in folders (by item type) in the fitting window. All my ARs in one, CRs in another, MDs or HMGs in their own windowsGǪ. Instead of seeing EVERY possible module that could go in that slot?
None of the above are mission-critical. But they are GÇ£nice-to-haveGÇ¥s that would go a long way to improving the overall quality of life for every player on a daily basis.
To the rest of the communityGǪ what other minor tweaks would you like to see added in. Not major issuesGǪ but minor quality-of-life things that you think would just make the game better?

That acknowledged point #3 in my list.... but 1, 2 and 4 still need to be addressed.
Also... is there anything you would like to add?

Actually, if you know anything about how they display this same stuff in EVE, then you would know that the dev blog DOES in fact cover you questions 1, 2, and 3. As for 4, I agree this would be very helpful.

CCP Remnant wrote: 6. Where do you plan on taking the Scout class? What specific roles do you see it playing on the battlefield? by Knight Soiaire, BurgezzE.T.F, DUST 514 Forums
Alas, poor Scout, I knew him!
The ScoutGÇÖs not gotten too much love in recent months. What started out as a bullet-strafing monster back in Chromosome has slowly been marginalized as other aspects of the game have been worked on and improved. IGÇÖm happy to say that soon the Scout class should be wholly rejuvenated (or at the very least, be in a much better place). The introduction of cloaking equipment and revamped bonuses should help the Scout find his rightful place in the battlefield hierarchy. To me, the Scout role has always been about creating a disruptive force on the battlefield. HeGÇÖs the guy that can cover enough ground quickly enough to get drop uplinks into the right places (that is, if everyone didnGÇÖt carry one, but more on that later), hack objectives back, disperse squad members (nothing makes people scatter faster than a KC-amped shotgunner) and generally make a nuisance of himself.
The Scout role will get very high PG/CPU bonuses to fitting cloak equipment, making it just about the only role that can feasibly fit a cloak field without having to sacrifice the rest of its fit. Individual race skill bonuses will create opportunities for cloaked scouts to scan further and longer than other dropsuits, to have less GÇ£shimmerGÇ¥ as they move, and have lower innate scan profiles so that they can be visually and electronically invisible. These should help create more useful assassins, intel gatherers, and saboteurs. And in time, the introduction of additional Scout specializations will be added to further push the boundaries of the little Light Suit That Could.

OK, CCP. When are knives finally going to be improved?

Oh, another thing:
How about showing the armor/shield balance of weapons:
i.e. 10% bonus to armor damage, -10% penalty vs shields...
