... and right when the after-battle report screen should show up, i get a black screen with the message,
"A fatal error has occured. The game cannot continue. Please quit and restart the game."

Yep.
If you wouldn't mind sharing your feedback in the threads we have in the technical support section of the forums that would be appreciated.
The game in its self is actually working well, but that damn "Fatal Error" is killing our ability to play and really shouldn't be happening. |

I have yet to get this "fatal error" thing that people have been buzzing about. I only have one question for you.
Is your system DMZ'd?

well lets be honest here, you were kinda expecting some sort of problem to appear after a huge ass update like that right? i mean every time we get an update, there's bound to be something that doesnt work from the get go. like how scotty always messes up FW for us, joining battles sometimes takes minutes rather than seconds etc etc

i believe it's caused by having a negative standing with a faction at the end of the match.
i could be wrong, but my very next game after adding my ps3 to the dmz i got the same error.
then haven't seen it for a few games.
of course, now i'm negative standing again, so i'm sure i'll see it tomorrow. |
