CCP: "Hey! Let's make a rifle that has the most range, very high alpha, and still give it the same DPS as the CQC weapons!" CCP 2: "Wouldn't that be OP?" CCP: "Nah, we'll add a delay that is shorter than the human reaction time, that should be enough to balance it!"
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Really guy. All four rifles are mostly balanced on my opinion. The blaster rifle is by far the best up close (cqc) RR not so much because of the tight spread you have to be dead on up close when a target is strafing and jumping which takes skill. The RR has a low RoF and a low magazine. It also has a charge up. Stop complaining about weapons being op because they aren't your just bad and also ttkl isn't long either. Only to classes can complain scouts and heavies

agree. the new rail rifle is like the old pre nerf breach with more range and a slight kick which is easily managed. that hip fire accuracy is boss.

I guess in the world of low skill a high spread is a blessing to actually hit atleast a little bit and helpful when going full auto spray and pray mode aiming is not hard in this game, movement speed is not that high, bunny hopping is very limited and aim assist does the rest. |

RR has a delay that feels like the input lag we used to get a lot, only it's consistent and reliable, and there's no longer input delay on the other weapons.
Also, there's a faint whirring noise as it charges up ready to fire, which I actually quite like.
That delay actually works well for weakening the weapon in twitch reaction scenarios, like fighting other Rifle models in CQC, or going up against a surprise Shotgun attack. You know, all those things that CQC is actually made of (unless you're a Heavy)? Yeah, Rail Rifles suck at them. Heavies got shafted, but there's actually enough of a delay to be noticeable in the moments where instant reactions are required.
If the TTK gets toned down, then maybe they'll need to bump the duration of the RR delay up, but not by too much. |

In that case you are wrong for some strange reason I find even the RR more suitable in CQC and due to the extreme rof the ACR is way better.
The GAR is by a good measure the weakest AR out now and this without beeing nerfed |

Very true, I felt completely outclassed last night, I still have a lot of fits with a GEK and it was just so.... Ordinary!
I'm loving the CR, myself, a burst TAR is awesome. I skilled into that first, will have to try the RR next.

All this cod guys on here if you think dispersion is not good and have a gun like a laser rifle try out the hmg then come back to me. The RR is good but not to good it has a charge up time which with other weapons you could have let out to burst by the time you fire it. It works well as a hit and run rifle not stay and dog it out. Blaster rifle has 18 more rounds no charge and murders it in cqc without a doubt also it has a higher dispersion rate (which is barely noticeable) along with a higher rof. The weapons are fine stop complaining

Old breach needs to come back, lower range is ok, tac and burst need to go.

Just an FYI..
Duvolle still is deadly. Specially with that slight tweaking. No one is crying nerf Duvolle yet since everyone was busy shooting CR or RR (I'm Fully specced into it)
Imperial/Viziam SCR is still a two shot kill. 3-4 shots for a heavy. Best gun, effortless (Fully Specced)
Combat rifle is a CQC weapon. Assault Combat has a little bit more damage than submachine gun. So it depends on who is willing to take the risk to jump in the middle of 3-4 red dots (halfway there)
Rail Rifle = Please Aim and shoot. Not just spray and pray. Finally a gun worth using. It would be even better if CCP takes off Aim Assist completely. (Fully Specced)
Tanks = Gone in 60 seconds
Swarms = Finally, truly Shooting Rainbows (Fully Specced)
AV nades = Dafuq is that ?! (Fully Specced)
MD = Can't use it on FW since Blue dots won't learn fast enough and will end up causing you LP points
Friendly Fire = blue berries jumping on your line of Fire or trying to aim at the Red but hitting you instead. (CCP please make FW atleast a 5 mil SP requirement or pls make the penalties a bit more severe for small arms fire)
So... What else do you think is OP ?! |

No not really at least until I watched for it at first I thought CCP forget to put the delay in. But honestly the delay is 0.25secs thats pretty close or less than the average human reaction its not really an issue... |
