You can have your fun wrecking the field in a tank, and when you get killed by a suicide LAV you can sit there and LOL, why? because they're cheap, and because they're cheap and yet still effective it opens up a whole new world. This game will be very different in the coming month

Maybe a little too cheap.
Why would I bring my 200k Proto suit when a 72k Soma wrecks **** up? 
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Because tanks can't go everywhere and can't hack objectives, as long as you have a tank killer on the field feel free to run infantry like normal but just expect to see alot more vehicles on the field.
I'm sure something will be exploited and something will change with this but as of right now I really like where vehicles are at, and I don't mind adjusting to the influx of big rolling turds. All it is is adding a new element to the game, and takes out the element where 1 guy with a good gun and AV grenades can dominate everything.

I just don't understand it. Everyone before saw that LLAVs were a problem, so what does CCP do?
Remove the LLAV and make tanks function iin the LLAV mold. |

Least it makes more sense for a tank to be very powerful and an object of fear, and again if a tank is harassing you it's not like it's invincible anymore just get a rail tank and gun the thing down. At least it's better than a cheap forge gun taking down a million isk tank, now it's just a 70k tank taking down a 200k tank.

Yep :D They'll probably realize that the passive armor repair thing is gonna need to be reworked but otherwise I think tanks are in a good spot.
We all know infantry needs to be reworked anyway but at least this addresses alot of the problems that vehicle runners had, anyone can argue that changes like this aren't "fair" but there's still plenty of cheap ways to take down a tank and it's not much different from running to a supply depot to change to a forge gun fit.
