Ya this is one I don't believe is new but if your flying a dropship at an angle and someone tries to drop out of your ship, most of the time they are getting team killed. I guess my DS is running them over in mid flight lol. Very annoying since that now counts against us in FW.

As a tip i would suggest dropping them from extremely high altitudes so they have time to activate their dampener, otherwise if they don't have enough time then yes, they do die. |

This has nothing to do with hitting the ground, they are instant killed when dropping out. It is acting like run over damage.

He's talking about mid-air collisions with his own buddies.
OK, CCP. When are knives finally going to be improved?

OH my gosh! ...And I once flew in your dropship, Brushmaster.
It's an old movie now, but remember Rambo II, and the parachute problem jumping out of a Leer Jet?:
"...It's gonna be a tight insertion window, so your team of specialist mercs will be doing this H-A-L-O. The district is well guarded with experienced Soma drivers, so your fatties will be carrying Skill lvl-5 EV-11s on their belts. To blow the north bridge and prevent enemy reinforcments, your scouts will be strapped to the front with F/49 and Scrapeflake mines only. Squadleader Celesta Augnm will double up on extra Six Kin Triage tools for injury, and will strap on THREE Imperial Quantum uplinks to serve as the dropship re-supply and extraction point beacon--it's the only way to get out once the party starts..."
Brushmaster deftly rolls the dropship in over the target---there's AV fire ALL OVER THE SKY, but they just can't touch him. The signal is given---the EV-11s, F/49, Six Kin and Scrapeflake gear fills the cabin with that "Full Battle Rattle"---Look Out World, here come some Badazz mercs" sound. They five man team steps off the dropship like Angels...
---and THEY GET SUCKED INTO THE LEFTSIDE MAGNETIC THRUSTER AND ARE VAPORIZED IN 0.4 SECONDS....
hOLY--
(...Brushmaster returns ALONE to the doorsteps of CCP, walks up to the their new CEO and THROWS a tattered Caldari flag in his face, yelling "You cost us our lives!!!") ..... |
