What I like about it:
1. The FW system seems to have been polished and given a new role in the game, mainly trying to give people an incentive to play fw instead of pubs all day.
2. Enforcers are gone, they were never useful.
3. I now have 10.95 mil unallocated sp out of 21.43 mil total that I can use for something new and useful for myself.
4. no more small turrets that need to be equipped.
5. The loyalty store.
6. AV & Tanks look pretty balanced now, its almost as good as Chromosome was, your only soloed if your a complete idiot who doesn't know how to drive.
7. there are different sensitivity settings for you, the hip fire settings along with hipfire AA and ADS settings along with ADS AA.
8. Mark all & delete all messages function.
9. New racial assault riffles. (now we can rename the Assault riffle to the Plasma riffle)
all around looks like a good update.
What I don't like about it:
1. The Loyalty store. you need ISK to buy everything still. Since you cannot gain ISK from FW anymore why should we need to pay ISK for stuff from the LS? that makes no sense.
2. The turret ammunition is a real gimp to tanks that I believe its sole purpose was to balance them BECAUSE of the 1 minute of survival mode they get. however this can and will be abused by av by camping supply depots that they know a tank will go by and ambush it.
3. The massive SP sink it now takes to complete vehicles, I don't have enough to fully skill into them anymore and I hate that.
4. There are still redline killers.
5. Tank modules are switched now, the most important modules are now passive, and the least effective modules are now active.
6. The new graphics for when your getting hurt by something, sometimes it looks like im being frozen, other times it looks like im bleeding... I just don't like it, I very much prefer the old hit marker on our HUD we had before now.
7. Matchmaking is still complete ****.
What I wanted in 1.7:
1. Player trading, NOT PLAYER MARKET, just player trading.
2. Jet Fighters (I know itl be a long while before there here, I just want them already)
3. Player stats in FW (looking at their individual standings with each faction)
4. Vehicle locks. (an option for pilots to lock the driver seat of their vehicles so nobody will steal them when the pilot is hacking an objective)
5. Vehicle Ammunition Regeneration module. something that could be put into one of the small turret slots that slowly regenerates ammo over time depending on the turret your using and your skill proficiency with the skill.
the pros outway the cons for me, however im still debating whether or not tanks are worth the SP because of the increased SP sink CCP has made them.
all 'n all id say this is a very good update.

So much this...
If CCP decided to refund ALL of my SP then I would have fully sinked into vehicles... But sadly, I was an idiot and when I maxed my HAV skills I stopped putting any more points into vehicles and started putting points into infantry... So now having "wasted" all those points on infantry I decided to just commit to infantry.
