So I went on a 'vacation' back to my hometown and couldn't bring my ps3. In my stupidity I thought I could simply log into my account on another ps3 and play dust but when I tried downloading it, it gave me an error. Can I not access my dust account from another ps3 or am I doing something wrong? I have been saving for a month for the combat rifle and... Now I am sad. Especially if I have to wait another month to play.
Is there anything I can do?? |

It should all be about the PSN account. What error did you receive and at what part of the process?

Vacation = Playing Dust just different scenery lol jk.
It could be that you've downloaded the game using your account to more than 3 PS3s already. Just guessing. What kinda error are you getting?

I logged into my psn account fine and then went to the store to get dust and it gave me an error there. Said something about having an account on another system. I don't remember exactly. |

I don't remember the exact message but it occurred when I tried to download dust from the store. I have it on 2 playstation, this would be the third. I will try again later to see exactly what it said. |

Maybe it's because the account on your original PS3 is active.

Sooo what should I doooooo? I hate stupid psn stuff. Ever since that security breach thing a couple of years ago it has been a big pain in the ass. It wants my credit card info every three seconds and never likes the address I put in. |

You can only have 2 PS3 console's activated under your account that can download games/movies, It used to be 5.
What you can do is, go to the playstation site. And go to your registered devices, and deactivate one of the two PS3s of your choice. You can only do this once every 6 months btw. So you gotta be sure. Then just activate your console at your hometown Hope that helps. |
