Purely for grief, I strapped six remotes to the front grill of my Saga BPO LAV and drove it into a friendly tank moments before the match ended. I think the operator was just about to kill an enemy tank.
If that was your tank, please leave a message here. I didn't grab a name. I was kicked in mid explosion screen-freeze, and given two notifications from Caladri State command.

I guess they just threw it in as a joyous holiday gift. It work in quite interesting ways with normal pub matches wherein you can have friends layer your vehicle with REs. They stand back in safety and you drive around telling them when to detonate, killing red berries in timed waves of explosive splash damage. And you just keep driving.

I should have done more experimentation with this. I was able to successfully attach an RE to a Gorgon but it slipped off moments later. It may have been my placement. Yes, theorretically, in pub matches you can apply RE's to a dropship, swoop down and donate with off board assistance and leave the ship intact.
