Calling it like I see it.
RE's on the front of your LAV in pub matches = murder taxi. No friendly fire means that they can just stick it on the front and blow people up to their heart's content.

So if I hit that lav with a regular locus grenade or one swarm volley, it should blow up the whole thing, right? Won't get the kill, but might eliminate the lav and the redberry driving it. I'm assuming that REs can kill the user like grenades can. If I'm wrong, lrt me know.

Needs a fix, should be allowed but it should damage the driver, unless ofcourse it's being detonated by a different player, then leave it because teamwork :)

There are counters:
You can detonate the RE with an AR or a standard grenade, causing it to detonate and hoist the driver with his own petard.
Of course if the driver gets his buddy to affix the RE he will be immune to its damage and a beefy LAV can tank the explosion.
If enough people popped the RE before the driver could hit someone it will probably be abandoned as not worth the effort. |
