Combat Rifle is under powered. Rail rifle, plasma and scrambler rifle are fine.
Combat Rifle needs more damage per bullet. |

i'm loving the assault CR, but it does burp through ammo seriously fast. If you have the drop on a guy, the ACR eats them in rediculously short time. |

Really? It feels right on the mark. Seriously, it does great in CQC and works pretty well at mid range.
I really feel like CCP hit the sweet spot with these things.
I'm gonna use my AR non stop for the next few days to see how it stacks up. Hopefully it's the best CQC rifle with a close follow up by the CR.

Hm. I haven't tried the ACR just yet.
I'm comparing Standard variants by the way. Perhaps more ammo would help, but I find TTK is just a tad too slow compared to the others. |

I think they are spot on.
Any bets that Minmatar assaults get a Projectile Ammo perk for more than just sidearms in one of the next two patches? Would be in the same vein as the Amarr heat reduction perk. |

True, it's fitting costs are a boon. I still think a tad bit more damage is required. Only slightly.
On the other hand! you do bring up a good point. A smaller fitting costs means easier to fit damage mods. I'll have to do more testing after work. |

Bonus damage to armor. Finally we have a real counter to remotely repped heavies.

any AR is tearing up bricked heavies really fast even while core repped by 1 logi
