I have tried to enable / disable voice will not work in any channel anyone else having an issue ? |

I just uninstalled DUST. 1 hour minimum before I can play again. I will tell you guys if it fixed the issue. Same thing though BRoonfondle. I have friends that have comms and other that dont.
GRRR... It's even a new PS3. Garg I wanted to get level 3 factional warfare at least. Well I guess theres always a problem with new updates

Yes it says internal error right. Thats why I'm re-installing it. Just to see if it gets fixed.
I have a question though. Did you try to connect after it was installed but before the servers where up??

yep multiple times  I just got done reinstalling that seemed to fix it ...... |

Was experiencing this issue too. Quitting the game/Turning off system didn't work. Logging out and logging back in did the trick for me. |

I got a Fatal error at the end of a PC match after Downtime today and it changed the Audio device settings on my PS3 !!
Go to Accessory Settings > Audio Device Settings then select what ever you use for the input device.
That fixed the comms for me. |

Can't switch voice channels
Can't hear other people in same channel
Turning voice off causes an error logging me off
Restarting PS3 has no effect
Going through PS3 console settings has no effect
Might be a problem from having a ghost mic
Well, no fun to be had trying to play FW today. Gonna end my day by team killing and rezzing the same guy until I get banned. |

Same issue here. Checking the mic in accessory settings did nothing, disabling voice chat disconnects me (though it does let me re-enable it when i get back in game). Same issue happens even with my mic off. |

Same thing this guy said for me as well.
EDIT: Just a quick heads up... it took me 90 seconds (that's right NINETY SECONDS) to just delete the DUST game.... something must be terribly wrong with the game files on my system.
Ah well. Time to reinstall... (and the adventure continues!) |

Yes a re-install does fix this, too bad ccp doesn't include a repair client option with Dust like they do with Eve.

I did a complete reformat of my PS3 and haven't had the voice issue come back but I still hard freeze like crazy. .. |

Coming back to say the reinstall does fix.
Also, I took the opportunity to rebuild database and restore file system. For those wondering how to do that go to http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-Home-Support/Restoring-your-PS3-File-System-amp-Database-Helps-to-Maintain/td-p/37322987 for more instructions.
After doing so, voice problems are fixed and finally working again. Also, I now see a big improvement to framerate and performance to the game. |
