I didn't try the rail rifle yet, so I'm not sure, but I think Combat Rifle is definitely the best rifle.
It's monsterous, I saw proto suits go down before I lost 102 shields in a 1v1 battle.
AND IT'S A GODDAMN STD COMBAT RIFLE, WITH NO PROFICIENCY!
I didn't fully spec into it yet!
I am in love with this thing!
And it even has the lowest CPU/PG requirements out of the rifles!
I dub the Gallente AR dead.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Idk man. The rail rifle is tearing it up in far range. Combat will probably become king of CQC. Hopefully we don't se any buff Assault Rifle threads.

I picked up the adv after trying both rifles at std. My god i love the rifle. It just has such a perfect feel.
Its hard hitting and precise, what more could a merc ask for?

RR first reactions - I dunno, it might be because my first game with it was laggy, but I can't get a feel for it.
