I say go ahead and use them in FW. Please. Please do. While you're at it, use proto weapons too. There's a reason behind me saying this.
Why? Why would I? I'll give the first person that can answer the question of "why would I promote the use of the high-end gear in FW 2.0?" one million ISK after 1.7 launches. I want to see who reads and who skims.

Because you might get some of that gear through salvage. In other words, they are doing salvage like they do in PC.
