Caldari Hierarchy is now Outdated
The new channel is "Kirjuun Heiian", if you are worried about the chance of misspelling it, know that I beat you to it in the ingame chat already lol.
K I R J U U N H E I I A N but without the extra spaces and its just two words
It is a secure channel that is being hosted by a coalition of several solid Caldari Alliances. The channel is open, and will be used to qsync and organize matches.
With the changes to OBs in FW, EVE support will be major. Currently Eve players need to connect to a Satellite and port there for 3 mins to drop OBs, which leaves them open for attack. OB squads will be implemented to provide protection for EVE players as they assist Dust Players. The new channel is based entirely off of this understanding.
The first 3 weeks will be for monitoring how FW 2.0 effects gameplay, for Dusters to try out the new toys, for a few TK trolls to get bored, to build up some LP to make room for errors, and for the transition from Caldari Hierarchy to Kirjuun Heiian. Essentially the first 3 weeks will be data collection, and the Coalition of Alliances will then regroup again for another discussion on how to better organize the war effort. There will be follow up meetings every so often to make sure we have an understanding of available resources and to address any new problem or change that comes up.
The channel will also be used as a place of recruitment from players looking to join a corp, for corps looking for an alliance, or for alliances who are looking for more support. Due to the core alliances which have set this up expect much greater socialization and integration for those who are vetted as we encourage such.
If you have any questions just shoot me an in-game message. I will also be in Caldari Hierarchy redirecting traffic as well, again the transition will take some time, but the overall results will pay off.

Lt Royal wrote:Was the channel made EVE client side or in Dust? I can see there being a problem for spies to use this for gaining intell; if its as public as you say...
It was made EVE side, initially we were talking about not making it public, but the conclusion we came to was that if the Gals had any bit of organization, they would have the location based on what their dust players told them because the dust mercs on both sides have that intel.
If we find out within the 3 weeks that the channel needs to be password protected we will implement that, otherwise it is open for the time being

Having issues downloading the patch (which is normal), went through two separate hour attempts only for it to fail, so unfortunately I'm not able to try it out yet. So I'll be on later tonight or tomorrow pending on how things go

This is what's known as "a bad idea."
Consider it a test run if you wish

This allows us to get to know players, to find out how good people are, who has teamwork who doesn't, etc. Again it may become password protected later on, but at the moment its actually informational to use the kitchen sink approach to see how things pan out.

JARREL THOMAS wrote:But u said people who are regularly on Caldari hierarchy will get inv what about people who haven't made it in to the Chanel before you guys put up a password?
Most likely it will say public because having at least one open and moderated channel isn't a bad idea either, especially for people who are in hostile corps but are loyal to the caldari., again we'll work it out, its not one individual trying to theory craft everything its a large group of us. We might have a secondary channel for a very small select few who are decent and up for the purpose of team deploy when it does come out.

Zekain K wrote:It's too bad that the players in that channel are no better then the ****** blue berries that infest our fw games.
There is like a group of 8 to 12 of us who I play regularly on there and we seem to win them all the time when we do play. Obviously good players like playing with other good players because they generally don't want to burn away their resources on those not pulling their weight. I've hadn't had problems when I actually get people in the channel to play, its only when my regulars aren't on (or in a full squad themselves) and we are using squad finder to fill in the slots.
