 We'll it's not scary at all considering that absolutely NO government has any control over it. In fact, according to Ron Paul (R) of the US Congress, the US government might try to suppress it because Bitcoin will definitely pose a threat to the US dollar as a powerful competitor.

 Though I think you mean Rand Paul, his son. Senior Paul retired a while ago.

 didn't bitcoin just take a hit? I could have sworn that I read that. I do not trust bitcoin. There are way too many shady characters involved with it right now for my tastes.
