Lets discuss a hypothetical situation.
Imagine that CCP decided that the current implementation of Dust is too far gone to salvage, and they decided to remake the game from the ground up. Brand new code, brand new game.
What would you want to be at the top of CCP's priority list? When the game is released, what features should be completely implemented and functioning 100%? How would you want the game to feel and behave? Since this is completely fictional, do not be afraid to let your imagination run wild. In your wildest dreams, how will Dust 514.2 be?
On the other hand, what do you think can wait for future expansions? What are some things that are not essential, and you wouldn't mind waiting for?
This is of course all hypothetical. It is very unlikely that CCP will ever just scrap Dust. However, it is still interesting to hear the community's opinions on what is the most important, without the constraints of the actual game. Who knows, it may even provide CCP with some insight into the wishes of the community. |

all they have to do is read the forums to see what people want. main things are all racial suits, vehicles, and weapons. the dust/eve link to really mean something, complete balance, market, and pve.
I know if they added even the most basic form of PVE they would see a lot of people come back.
Everything I say or do has the utmost importance.

I think the expectations would be obvious to us all. I want all the things I thought I was gonna get when I came to this game.
I want to be launched in a breach pod and crash into another ship, explode through the smoke and wreckage with the heat from my HMG glowing through the smog, push forward to the first objective on my way to capture an injured Titan.
I want to land on a planet in my Python, get out and walk around and enjoy the peaceful vista as I gaze at clouds of smoke rising from production facilities in the distance.
When I die I want to awake in my fresh clone pod and suit back up into my dropsuit.
I want to own gigantic ground based factories that produce products of war, then use them against all who stand in my way.
I want one bullet in the right place to topple an empire.

I think that their implimentation should change. Drop the 3 dimensions of combat and go to infantry. Perfect and adjust Infantry combat until its down to just minor changes. Reimplement Vehicles to the game, providing one class at a time and balancing the vehicles around infantry. Then finally add in the connectivity to EVE to finish off the game. Dust 514 right now is a great game, its great as it is (reminding you that the game is free), and any game that calls itself Dust 514 that isnt this game right now would not be Dust 514.

Combine EVE Valkyrie and DUST and incorporate a better connection with EVE Online like being able to pilot a ship from the cockpit. |

Well well, a few responses and already a theme is starting to show, (which strangely isn't "OMG They nerfed my gun, if they remake Dust leave it the way it was!!!!!1111oneone")
Also, accepting guesses as to what the title is referring to. Da da bum didee doo doo doo are very descriptive lyrics!
