I think one way of fighting the plague that is the Logi Assault is to make better sidearms.
Improve the Nova Knives and un nerf the Flaylock, which is currently harder to reliably kill with than the Nova Knives.
I know that Amarr Logi's can have sidearms but there tank is meh. The biggest threat are Minmatar Logi and Gallante Logi, they both armor tank or even brick tank. The Flaylock would help even out the playing field
Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened.

You're dumb... Before I started to run around with a maxed out AR on my logi I used the Flaylock instead. Less PG and CPU required for it so more room for equipment and shield extenders... Un-nerfing the Flaylock would only benefit the Ligi's not make them worse.

Anyways that means I can run a Duvolle and Flaylock at the same time while you can run only one.

no it's not. as a sidearm specialist I can honestly say that the core flaylock is easier than ishukone nova knives. all sidearm proficiency is at the very least 3, all used with one complex damage mod, so the judging grounds are equal.
Tell me, how exactly DOES a biscuit gain Valor?

I would consider the amarr logi to be the only true "assault logi". It is balanced by a reduced slot count and low walk/sprint speeds

did you know that with my modest SP's I can fit a gallenti militia medium frame and get over 800 EHP
fitting
AR locus grenade 2x's enhanced armour plates 1x's complex armour plate compact nano hive
shields 150HP armour 653HP
total EHP 803
as an advanced minmitar logi here is tanking the suit as far as possible with my skills
AR locus grenade 3x's complex armour extenders 3x's enhanced shield extenders compact nanohive
shields 217 armour 633
total EHP 850
if I could use proto shield extenders I would only be able to swap out one enhanced for a complex so 250 shields 633 armour and total EHP 883.

Flaylock for all it's flaw's in its infancy always allowed dueling potential.. Two flaylockers could duel and it would be somewhat enjoyable.
Two Mass drivers dueling? Two Forge guns Dueling? Two core nade spammers dueling? Two shotgunners(now) dueling?
Flaylock is remembered from some as very bad... But with what we have now ill take it back. |

I agree the Flaylock was nerfed to hard since hit detection was still broken for hitscan weapons. Simply raising the CPU cost, lowering the RoF, and halving the ammo capacity could've balanced the thing out.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Yah the main problem with the flaylock before, you can even watch some of CEOpyrex's video's when he was using it... he would reload sometimes 200 times in a match.
It was meant to be a burst AOE dmg weapon... and slow as hell reload...
It wasn't a weapon meant to pack a lot of explosive bullets in your pocket.. or be able to load all those projectiles in a second. Or be a deadeye aim with shooting their feet...(because headshot direct impact flaylock hits do less damage then shooting their feet) |

Scrambler pistol does more damage to armor in a clip and it has -20% against armor, and the exact same reload time.

I still kill nearly everything with the Flaylock. I actually barely noticed a difference when it was nerfed.
That being said if we brought back the good old days I wouldnt complain. :D
