Agreed dude, I would even go as far as to say that I went Assault-Logi because I was unable to see health bars. Sad, but true.

Being able to see HP on all dudes isn't going to make using rep tools that much better. It will help and is cool but it won't make assault logi go away. Nerfing logi suits will reduce assault logis but also reduce "true" logis. The fix is to make assault suits not a steaming pile of **** in comparison to a logistics suit. |

No, assault suits are fine (apart from Galassaults being able to camp on repping hives and Minassaults being crippled). The issue with Logi's could be solved by cutting their module slots, reducing their PG/CPU, and giving them a PG/CPU reduction bonus for all equipment instead of 5hp per second passive repair. This way they can't uber-tank health, they can't auto rep without fitting a repair module, and they have trouble stacking damage mods. At the same time they can fit what equipment they need to actually play a support role.
Basically we need to change logi's to be a go-to suit for support, not a go-to suit for slayers. If you can slay in a support suit, more power to ya, but the logi suit shouldn't be made in a way that people want to spec into it FOR THE PURPOSE of slaying.

Um hold on...
Did you even play this game before they changed they introduced this mechanic? As a logi you could easily see the health bars of your allies around you as long as they were close by...and you didn't have to pinpoint aim at your allies just to see them at range.
With this much needed fix, you can easily tell if someone needs a rep and actually run across the map to them in time before they die, or before they get out of your sight. It might not make the repair tool better, but it definitely increases the earning potential of the equipment. Not to mention the ease of use.
On top of that, we'll be seeing a LOT more repair tools on the battlefield now that they can be used properly. The whole reason you never see them anymore was because of the change to health bars and the inability to easily check the status of your squad at all times. It basically made them useless unless you were running alongside someone repping them when they got hurt. It was almost impossible to know when someone needed reps, and the most you ever would do it was when you revived someone.
