In MAG if you played it you'd notice something nice about the sensitivity. Turning started slow but gained momentum so it increased in speed as you turned one direction. In dust you move at the same low speed unless you use a mouse. I think it'd help with gameplay if sensitivity not only was higher on controllers but had the same effect as MAG. Anyone else agree?

It's called looking at what works in a game and using it and improving on it. Someone needs to learn a thing or two.

Sadly no it's something you more so realize after playing that game and is actually quite a nice concept. It made it a little more realistic and made it feel more smooth. I just believe it'd be a nice edition with the sensitivity with it being a little higher.

you both are goofy as hell the one dude talks about MAG all the time and the other dude wants videos of people turning the camera in MAG, what are you gonna do with those videos? are you just genuinely corky as ****? or were you so entranced with becoming some kind of white knight to defend against the second poster that you didnt even care how dumb you sounded? |

MAG did MANY things that while small would make this game more fun and interesting. (Proximity chat and Skirmish 1.0 to name a few)

I believe you are talking of "stick acceleration" What it is is when you push the stick in one solid direction, the reticule only moves a bit at first, then moves faster. Play CoD and just hold the stick, then give it quick 'flicks' the difference is astounding, it truly is.

Most console shooters do this, and for GOOD REASON, it makes aiming so much more smooth. It bothered me about Dust that it didn't have it, and I asked for it.
Also, I hate it when some idiot apposes a good idea simply because some other game already did it.

I want you on CPM instead of brownnoser and pants tbh. Kane and Jager can stay the others need to go.

I've heard they don't even play dust anymore really and just read the forums. Sadly it seems CCP does the same, only way you can get something done is if you get enough people to spam on the topic on the forums which it feels many of the dust players don't use or have the time to. Maybe if they actually experienced things they'd understand problems better than relying on the forums.

Actually I played with Jager a couple of days ago and I've seen Kane on recently. Iron Wolf messaged. Don't know about the others.

@OP
One of the first things I noticed when I came from COD is that this was missing. Really frustrating not having it.

Actually op, thats why aiming used to be so terrible. the acceleration caused your aim to jump around worse than a frog on springs.

Ideally sensitivity would be low, allowing for precision, whereas holding the stick one direction would be able to spin that 180 to counter the drop the guy got on you.
