If you have redlined a team you shouldn't also be able to push them back even further because you can tell where they are at all times with a scanner.
I've been in many matches where my team has redlined the enemy and the scanner just makes it easier for us to secure our win and know exactly where the enemy is coming from. It allows players to run further into the redline because they know there are enemies there. It also makes it possible to drop OBs in the redline to know exactly where the spawn cluster is.
All I ask is that scans will not pick up anything in the redline as if there is some sort of profile dampening field around the base.

Well I know where you are coming from but "buffing" the Redline should not be the Answer to this. Your suggestion would make it even harder to detect redline snipers, redline railtanks and redline forgegunners, and those should be detectable.
A way to prevent redlining could be a fst way to end the game like a small counter once all letters are captured for skirmish matches or the often suggestet Titanmode where you can board the MCC and initiate a selfdestruct once shield are down... |

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

If I wanted to suggest a way to prevent redlining I would have mentioned how the MCC could be in a different location in the battle "square"
For instance, if we have 4 sides of a square, only two of those sides have a spawn point (almost always opposite sides). If instead we had two sides with ground spawns, and two sides with MCCs, then there would be no such thing as a redline as the two spawns would be far enough apart that one spawn could be used as a flanking position, or a way to get to a different objective besides the ones closest to you with the spawns as they are now.
The only way to completely redline the enemy then would be to have two organized squads on each spawn point, which would be much harder to do than just have your entire team on the ONLY spawn point.

Well maybe I misunderstood your main intention a bit but nevertheless you suggestion would strenghten some current "problems" as the abuse potential is still there.
