I'm just queing up when I get a match with known proto stompers so I leave. I que up again back to the same match, so I leave and it happens AGAIN. Wtf come on CCP get your head out of your kittens and fix this if I leave a battle I don't want back in

i take my own advice BTW, remote explosives do wonders against proto stomps. |

Actually if you can match kill/death you will make a fortune in these matches. and when people ditch out halfway through you get more based on time spent in matchGǪ

Thing is, it's not just that you are being proto stomped; the other side generally knows they're proto stomping. Most cases, they don't give two kittens and will continue to gleefully pound the newbies into the dust, possibly because they just left some frustrating PC battles. I know I have done it before.
But this is why they make mistakes. Redlining is a tactic that leaves their whole map open for invasion if you're watching the possible routes where you can break through. I have a mlt scout with no skill requirements except in advanced uplinks which can draw out my whole team from the redline to capture a point whilst the enemy still thinks it's only one or two guys who broke out.
By the time they get back to protostomp us out, I already have uplinks at a vantage point at the next objective. Suddenly we are on the leading foot, and nothing makes me grin harder than watching the proto stompers chase my trail of blueberries and uplinks.
Point is, all strategy is forgotten when the game is so easy, that you can play them like puppets if you do it right.

as a rule i dont snipe, its just not my style :P
plus i more commonly see thales on the stomping side and they expect a sniper, they dont expect a suicidal explosives user :P
spite sniping isnt really all that effective, the uplink placing explosives user is a tide turner :P |
