With the coming FW changes, I think it's important that OBs do not count towards the damage penalty.
There will always be blueberries who aren't on comms and don't respond, and there will always be greenberries more than willing to take an OB on the head to secure a point.
Shorlty after the 1.7 rollout, OBs will become increasingly rare unless it's close to downtime.
This will also affect Eve pilots trying to earn LP. As fewer and fewer people call them in, their potential revenue will plummet and it will become a rarely used feature.
Please remove the TK penalties for OBs! |

In which case you'll have people deliberately trying to trick EVE players into wasting their whole team with an OB just so they can go "trolololol" in-game before they get kicked.

This is getting more and more game breaking.
If you play FW long enough, especially if you are a squad leader, you are almost GUARANTEED to get banned, and lose ALL the standings you've gained in that day.
I think the only thing that should count against you in FW is if you get punished for a TK. |

I would say the exact opposite. If you can't warn your random blueberry team mates you're dropping an orbital, you shouldn't get punished for TK'ing them. If 'big red flashing letters saying caution orbital targeting on the location' were around, then the random blueberries could GTFO or stay (die) at their own risk, and you shouldn't be punished cause they didn't move. |

EVE pilots shouldn't get penalized of course we want to encourage them.
But we need some kind of penalty for making poor decisions on the battlefield or malicious ones.
If not might as well make friendly orbitals act like EMP orbitals when hitting blue targets... So it takes everyone's shield out and doesnt kill them, making some kind of disadvantage to dropping it on team mates but not enough power so one team mate can awox 15 players. and millions of ISK, with no consequence. |
