ATTENTION: There has been a recall on all proto gear from public matches do to the recent outbreak of protophobia. A disorder causing new mercenaries to either quit entirely or withdraw to their merc quarters until the nesisary skill is acquired passively. Thus, exellerating the loss of new/ active mercenaries and in return making CCP less money. If the soldiers of New Eden don't refrain from their extensive use of proto gear in public matches, the DUST community will surely die a much quicker death then previously estimated. |

Unfortunately most of the protobears are actively trying to kill dust for whatever reason mostly just because they are -assholes-. So posts like this will only make them stomp harder..... Sad but true. |

Indeed. I run the covenant assault suit with an exile AR and advanced mods and go positive more than I don't. Its the "**** all over this game" mentality that really gets to me though. And I'm not say I g that I won't break out my proto gear when I get pissed off or REALLY need to take objective but I don't run it all the time, with my suicidal playstyle it would break me in a matted of weeks. |

Since the disorder is most commonly seen in new players and 4/5ths of them quit, this proposed "antidote" is inapplicable. |
