What are the best advices on creating a character, choosing skills, ships, navigation and trades for a beginner?

character creation is completely cosmetic, it only effects your rookie ship and starting location. find some friends, whether they be in EvE uni or elsewhere. PVP is the most profitable career, it is also the hardest to get into you may consider an indy toon first to feed isk to your pvp toon. if you are dead set on pure PVP you should join a big pvp corp like red or blue and partake in frig fights be patient thing are slow and relaxed in eve... unless they aren't. no matter who says otherwise posting gore in local is always funny jet can tourists into the local sun at every opportunity.
thats all I got... maybe you should try the eve forums?

Just remember these rules:
- Everyone wants to kill you
- Everything in local is a scam
- There are no "safe zones"

Stay away from low sec.
Lost my character the very first day I played Eve because I tried to visit my old corp's district.

I've linked three Small Missile Launcher and feed them with Inferno Missiles

if you're going to shield tank go winmatar
otherwise amarr or gallente are where it is at. I prefer an armor tank, especially for fleet OPs.

for your trip to null, cloaky frig with a MWD. understand that in null if you aren't blue you're red. cloak up unless the system is empty, any populated system will have combat scanner probes.
using a wormhole to get you to lowsec might be a plan, just watch out for russians.

Lost my first ship. My Brother told me that I can't takedown Guristas Hideaways in Cosmic Anomalies by myself with only a Frigate. Pfff
I killed everyone and two missile Turrets 'till the fourth wave came hard on me.

I think in the short time I played, I just flew an Algos and went around scanning things until I hit a PvE anomaly, at which point I warped to it, cleared it, and warped back to my home station.
I also committed insurance fraud. If you take a cheap ship, like the Velator (Gallente starting ship), buy the best insurance you can afford (Insurance for this thing is pretty cheap), and then go out and purposefully destroy it, you get more ISK in insurance than you spent making the entire ship. I did this a couple times to get my Algos, actually. And then the drones FOR my Algos. I get the job done.
EDIT: Before edit, I kept calling it Argon. After double-checking, I realize I was talking about the Algos.
