CCP was VERY QUICK to nerf tanks/heavies/tac ARs/forge guns/render range, whats taking so long with the scrambler rifle? you slip on ice and whack your head and need time off? get with the program. |

Scrambler rifle have gone damn near unchanged for the past 6 months, yet the OP threads have only recently become popular.

All rapid fire weapons (including the smg) went through a change in 1.6, lets not pretend otherwise.

1.4, lets not beat around the bush here all the HROF weapons came pre-buffed due to the pure hit detection, when uprising 1.0 hit.
Now since then they haven't changed STATS at all,
Now between 1.0 -1.2 everyone used a tac, because there hit detection was superior. In 1.3 there was a cry that Mass Drivers were OP, despite not having its damage buffed.
So why did AR users think it was overpowered? Because 100% of the shots that hit, counted 100% of the time. Which means with an aoe weapon, you can CONSITENTLY and RELIABABLY apply damage. While AR was pot luck.
Now from 1.4 onwards, most weapons have seen drastic improvements. Mostly HROF weaponry, as such the STATS they had are too much for now.
CCP should consider a 10% reduction on the AR, CR, SR, RR, SMG MSC weapons because they are still churning out power they will no longer need.

Because scrambler rifles are the most balanced weapon in the game.
