DUST Search - Maaaaan, last night was a slow night on Dust

Agreed. There was only 3 of us in a squad and we weren't even really sticking together for most of it. The one match where the reds actually hit the city they were camped on the roof over B and just falling down 1 at a time. So we called a drop ship in, went up there and let them shoot Preston while I repped him and we didn't even shoot back. It took 7 of them to take us down and we didn't even fight back. We were just bored. That part was funny I guess.

That's awesome.

But it is terrible. I don't think the skill level has ever been as bad as it is right now. It's making me kind of suck. I am used to running round without a care in the world. Once in a blue moon the enemy puts up a fight or you match up against a solid squad and I can tell I've developed some bad habits.

Every single match was half full and we could NOT get any competition what so ever. At one point we actually went searching for red berries and were LETTING them shoot us so we could rep each other just to get some damn WPs. but they kept RUNNING AWAY. I couldn't believe it. It would have been pretty funny if it wasn't so sad. Not a doom post by any means. Just my observation on last nights matches. Hope today is better. The Dust 514 AFK song Plasma Cannon FTW

Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

I know what you mean. Generally I wouldn't even be using the rep tool but there was nothing else to do... I really hope they bring back Corp Battles or something. What kind of person needs a free fps game when anyone interested in the genre has 4ish different games they already payed for. Only eve fans and little kids would play. Eve players tend to be older, rpg players without the best fps skills. Their good at teamwork and strategy but without the highest level of twitch reflex to back it up. Ur not gonna get many extra players from this player base. Theyve already joined and either playing/quiy Little kids who need a free fps will have no teamwork strategy or twitch skill. They also wont put up with the new player experience. They wont wait 5 mos to get semi skilled up to play te game Ur average teenager or twenty year old wont enjoy the graphics, boring maps, or the half released core product. The watery feeling guns or slippery vehicles. Dust vets have no reason to buy aur. Only new players would do that so whats paying for the servers? Hows dust servers stay open? Player base going to ps4 and other games. Shrinking with no new blood

EDIT: I'm not suggesting I'm one of the aforementioned "good" players, just that I've been playing more FW. If you see me in the redline, driving an LAV in circles, fear not! Its my two year old son enjoying New Eden.

Channels were all empty. I know a lot of people here had a stiffy for MAG, and they're shutting it down in a few days - so is everybody playing nostalgia on it or did PS4 + TTK really hurt that bad? Either way, it sucked. Cheeseburgers.
