Now I'm a pretty opinionated person and when there's something I don't like you're gonna see a thread about it sooner or later, but, I realize there's things meant to kill me as a shield class simply because: It's meant to kill me.
This is why you generally won't see me post more than a witty remark or sarcastic post in AR/SCR threads, or why I don't complain about flux grenades so much as a Minja.
There are things that are strait up made to take me out so I con't really get pissed off about dying to it, or rather I understand it's meant to be doing it so I rein myself in from the urge to comment, I will however do so if it's blatantly too powerful, ala current AV nades.
Anyway just my musings, opinions below.

And with that here is my response!
I've gotten to the point where if something kills me I just sigh and trudge on through BUT I have one thing that really grinds my gears; Core Locus Grenades, I know I know this has been beaten to death so many times but man I get killed by these in PC sooo many times, and lately its been a blue name one the kill-feed too O_o
It needs some adjusting, IMO but nothing stupid like removing the ability to cook them thats just not fun :D
For the record I run flux nades in PC all-day err-day ;)

My NUMERO UNO rage inducing thing in this game; is horrendous blueberries, I'm sorry but when I'm the ONLY person pushing an objective and getting killed many times doing so I start sighing even harder. We need a better tutorial system ASAP or I just need to get off my ass and actually help educate the community of new players, thats a thought to consider

Yeah there are some things that **** me off but I don't complain about the damage itself. Like sniper rifles im fine with them I hate redliners but that's a different complaint. Mass drivers, same thing, although the assault needs to go.
Scrambler rifles however I do have a problem with, because they are specialized for shields, and they rip me apart worse than a mass driver or an smg does. |

Ehh I don't get mad at a weapon particularly just the combination of a Gallente logi & a Carthum/Imperial I just find it... kinda like wasting food or a cold drink on a hot day.

Here's what pisses me off. (tested this with a friend off to the side in a pub match the other day when we ended up on opposite sides) I have a sidearm fit with an Ishakone Assault SMG with 2 complex damage mods mods on a gallente AVD basic frame. He's in an ADV Gallente Assault with a Carthum AScR and 2 damage mods. We carefully set up our suits to the exact same amount of health and stood across from each other & began shooting at eachother. I died while he retained about 1/4 armor.
I'm aware that ScR's do more damage per bullet, however the 1058 RoF on the Ishakone comes close to negating that DPS difference. So why is it that an ScR can kill an armor suit faster than an SMG which is BUILT for killing an armor suit?
Fact to keep in mind - damage for CR's will only be slightly higher than SMG's and have 200 RPM more than a standard SMG. I predict that at best this will make a CR the equal of an AScRfor killing an armor suit, but will not make it any better at killing one.

This is why I SMH when I hear Madrugar pilots QQ about Swarm Launchers.
It's an explosive weapon. That has a +20% damage bonus to armor. 
That's like a Gallente Assault QQing about how quickly they get dropped by a Mass Driver
Or like A Caldari Assault QQing about how quickly they get dropped by a Scrambler Rifle.

It's not that imo, they do care too much about isk lost/earned ratio, care too much about k/d ratio. i heard too many times "damn this game is so hard, I died four times in a row, I'll just snipe".  . TK in FW.

I've been thinking about this lately and have found out why I complain so much about certain weapons/tactics.
For instance, a caldari suit with a rail rifle absolutely destroys my armor tanked minmatar with an assault combat rifle. Why? Because the combat rifle chews through 400 shield 15% slower than his rail rifle can chew through my 400 armor. He has the advantage is both his defense and offense, which means that I die 90% of the time going head to head against them.
Rail Rifle on an armor tanked suit? I win. Other guns on a caldari suit? I still win.
I also tend to complain about ARs a lot too...but technically they should win in cqc against me with an assault CR. It's only when they kill me from 60+ meters away that I rage...because that **** shouldn't be happening, especially if they can chew through 800+ armor in less than a second.
Rail Rifles don't make me rage as much because they take a few seconds to kill people. It's not like an assault rifle where you're dead before it even registers that your shields have gone down (especially in a heavy suit)

Goofy blueberries, heavies using light weapons, and militia suits using proto weapons are the 3 things that annoy me the most. I remember when heavies actually used a heavy weapon, that's when I respected heavies. I remember when MLT suits ran MLT gear, now all I see is MLT suits with freaking duvolles and such. It's like seriously? You don't have the sp for a decent suit so you toss it all into a proto weapon that's going to take a nerf bat to the teeth in a few weeks and then your back to square one. You need to disperse your sp into a variety of things. Before you go proto (even with weapons this rule applies). I'm practically invincible to the nerf bat. I have proto amarr logi. Proto Caldari assault, proto commando (cause this one will definitely be nerfed  ) I have 4 different proto weapons, each of them I only use on proto suits. My skills (sp wise) are adequate to use e gear I want, my physical game skills are good enough that I can run a basic suit with all basic gear and do just as good with a proto suit, sure I die a few extra times, but what's 11k isk going to do to my wallet? Nothing. It takes the fun out of the game when I use proto gear to wipe out MLT suits. Sure it's fun for the first few kills, but then they retreat to the redline and snipe, and the match is done before it started. Use basic gear and you'll get a bit more challenging fight, but a more interesting match.
