It happened 9 days ago, on a 1m sp alt in a corp squad of low SP characters and Alts ..
We were up against another corp squad on the opponents team (can;t remember which corp it was sadly) on 1 of the new research facility maps (The one where the domination point is on a hill in the middle of the map but this was a FW match between the Minmatar (our Team) against the Amarr
Both squads went straight to B and after the initial exchanges of the point being hacked to and fro we managed to get hold of the point and push them a bit further back
The enemy squad then set up camp in the building opposite and then proceeded to lay siege on point B for the rest of the game and because the battle was so intense our whole squad stayed to try and fend off their attack for the rest of the game .. the other 20 players in the game continued their random battles across the map whilst the 2 squads fought over this 1 point
There was a huge portion of this match where point B was the only point our team held and therefore it was pivotal that we held onto it otherwise our team would be redlined and the game would be over which explain why both of the squads continued to fight over this 1 point
It was fast paced, action packed fun .. there were pushes, flanking, OB's (both bases were covered so you were lucky if you got the odd person with 1) and the end result was the top 6 on each team consisted of the players in each of the 2 squads with double digit kills and lots of deaths (I went 23 for 9 in STD) and in the end although we were behind MCC wise by a few bars we won by 17 clones
This is why I am such a supporter of a working matchmaking system and why I spend so much time QQing about the current system .. when the teams are balanced this game is an absolute joy to play
TL;DR So i pose this question to the community .. is their a particular match or experience that you've gone through recently that made you think .. you know what .. DUST isnt half bad

Running scouts against protostompers, and throwing an uplink last 5 ticks of the match. WHOLE TEAM SPAWNS IN. Had to throw a replacement while i was at it, enemy Mcc was like 80% shield. We hacked the objective and held it uncontested against their freedom Md's and Duvolles and Core locuses. Match ended when the enemy MCC killed ours, end hp was like 70% armor. Clone count was like 70-130 before my uplink. Clonecount by end was 10-60, enemy team ran like 25-3, 10-7, 4/5 all the way down past that. Our team: 15/20(meLol) 10/13 9/7 16/9 A whole bunch more were rocking that match, but sadly McC missiles need to be disabled when the cannon is hacked because that would've been a badass comeback.
Under 28db
Officially nerfproof (predicting CR nerf February '14)

Nice, it does make you feel good knowing that 1 mercs actions can change the tide of battle especially when that merc is you xD

These are the battles I love. I was just in a good one, were both sides were going at it. The sad part was the squad of a corp on my side did terrible I mean ugly terrible. The other sides squad was very good and it was me against them the whole way. I went 16-8 but my side still fought them to the end until our MCC went down in flames. Both sides took heavy causalities, but it was one of those that I would replay again, why? Because everyone was playing on the board and no one was playing a passive role

I can't remember i'm afraid but if the match sounds familiar then it could very well be that you were a member of the squad fighting over B and in that case, GG thanks for giving me a reason to keep playing the game xD

If so, gg to you as well, those matches where the enemy entrenches and I, with the help of my team, get to rout them out is fun.

Had one tonight in FW. Pretty much the same story as you. At the eand of the match almost everyone, on both teams, had at least 1k WP. Lots of heavies and logi, we had two or three heavies and at least two logi. It was a blast, we lost but our squad took and held the the point.
It was one of the best games I've played in a while and I wished more battles went like that. This game is super fun with a well equipped squad that works together. I actually wore an advanced suit for a while. All but one of my fits cost less than 10 K. Dropping proto suits with an exile on a starter fit is very enjoyable.
Dr. Gonzo: I hate to say this, but this place is getting to me. I think I'm getting the Fear.
