Not sure if it still is, but Condor Squad was the #1 channel for expert dropship pilots, and it still might be. I have taken a leave of absence due to the horrendous state dropships are in and have been in for quite some time, but i might come back on in 1.7. |

Officer forge guns will still 1 shot proto logi and proto assault dropships, more than likely. He's a well-experienced pilot that has made cracking videos related to dropships. Most of us experienced vets have moved over.
Yeah him and I were going to have a 1 on 1 but he never got on during the times that I did, but I'm sure you've been flying with many other pilots i used to in Condor Squad (if they are still flying), and it's a good thing I have a heads up as to where the DS pilots have moved to, because I'll be at least trying 1.7 out hopefully with some other pilots. |

In 1.7? Or do you mean after? I didn't see any mention in the patch notes |

I despise the "auto level" training wheels CCP installed last patch, both because it removes any skill required to hover and because it screws with my ability to fly smoothly. It's always lifting the damn nose when I want a tilt to move forward.
I loved flying and tried to make it work for months but I finally lost faith.
I had no idea that they implemented an auto leveling function already for dropships, and it sounds annoying if it's not triggered by a button but instead tries to fight with the pilot about what the computer wants to ship to do and what the pilot ACTUALLY wants the ship to do. Maybe it will get some tweaking in 1.7 or something, all i can say is i look forward to the new camera at least.

Yeah man of course i wasn't going to vanish for good, especially with the truly awesome things we have done with other pilots in Dust, it was just because of how CCP was never addressing the issues with DS and instead making them worse. But hopefully 1.7 makes them bearable through the finite ammo that deals more dmg & has a wider splash range (for missiles). |
