Everyone's theory is that they're dead. Sansha done took over their space and their tech is no longer anything to be fearful of.
I mean 10 years ago it took 200 of our old line battleships to take out a single jovian battleship, damaged mind you.
Today's battleships are an order of 10x stronger due to the constant threat of militarization and adaptation to threats. Back in those days back then a single heavy assault cruiser could annihilate some of the best battleships in 5 seconds by itself. Today not remotely feasible with an HAC and the HAC itself have gotten more powerful as well despite this change.
The current best Sansha ships are believed to be 'capsuleer' like crewed. There maybe a capsuleer at the helm but there is no why in hell you'd be able to unplug him without wet graving him. This could explain Sansha's ability to have such prolonged and extravagant losses in his incursions where the old slaves and other pirate factions could barely keep up with such militarized efforts.
Also nobody has seen a living jove in over 7 years about. they all be pre-recorded AIs so far.
