Cast your vote for which weapon coming in 1.7 will be deemed "OP" within mere hours of its release!
Simply post RR for the Rail Rifle or CR for the Combat Rifle, also feel free to post a reason why if you wish!

Both. The CR is an easy-to-fit Duvolle(how is that not OP), and the RR does massive DPS at long range.

RR. Because it chews through armor at a decent range. Don't want those armour tanked medium suits to lose their advantage, now would we? (Gonna be using the RR, on a shield tanked Caldari medium, so....)

The combat rifle... range, scope, bonus against the armor FOTM and if the burst versions can be abused using turbo controllers then absolutely INSANE damage potential.

I feel that the CR will be called OP.
A lot of people are armor tanking now and like someone stated above, the CR is just a long range SMG, it's going to devour armor. The fact that it comes with an ACOG means players are going to have a harder time getting away from it as well.
I feel that the RR may be called UP.
While it will do massive damage, it is stated that the RR will require a charge up time before it can fire and only after that charge up time will it fire hard hitting, fully automatic shots, SLOWLY. Depending on its ROF, I can see forum goers complaining that the TTK is too long for the weapon and asking for a ROF buff.

Massive damage with a slower ROF... .25s charge time... It's still the best one on the update.
.25s is 1/4s, that's half the time a human can react. So that's not going to be a problem.

I didn't know they had posted the actual time, I assumed it would be something like 1 sec...yeah, .25 secs is nothing.
