I always complained how the Amarr Assault suits, especially the advanced version felt a bit gimped in comparison to the other armor tanking suit the Gallente.
Suddenly now it just hit me that with the really nice CPU and PG values of the Amarr Assault, and the fact it can tank either way due to its equal shield and armor values, you can really fit the Amarr Assault in a plethora of ways.
For example I just did a fit on an adv suit
2 Cx Shield Extenders
1 Enhanced Range Amplifier
1 Cx Armor Plate
1 CRW SCR
1 GN20 Flaylock
M1 Locus Grenade
Quantum Scanner
Thing has 720 eHP and can see further complementing the SCR's tactical weapon advantage.
I can use hacking mods, profile dampeners, biotics, etc with fitting room to spare. The Amarr Assaults can truly be anything and have awesome eHP, the only downside is that they're very slow due to a built in speed penalty.

The suit is pretty awesome even without the heat bonus tbh.

The Amarr Assault really is good. I have an Amarr loyalist alt, and am loving it.
I love the CPU&PG values on the suits. It really allows you to fill your slots with higher tier mods and weapons. At proto level, with core upgrades, you can pretty much fill your entire suit with proto mods, weapons and equipment without need for a PG or CPU mod. It makes my Minmatar suits jealous. |

With a Flux on my Grenade Slot I have so much space to fit all the modules I need, I even turned one into a 8.8 m/s running Shotgun fit, but it has a huge hitbox so it's not incredibly viable lol
Combat Rifle is gonna be a nice weapon to fit with its low resource usage I'm excited for that and the Rail to come out, but I'm likely gonna stick to my trusty Templar ScR :)

Lol. This made me realize how slow I actually am used to being in my Logi Ak.0. My Assault Ak.0 seems really fast compared to it, I was actually surprised when I first got it.

I dont like using Complex plates, I use 2 advanced and I run quite fast actually its awesome.
I die less with less health.
