So saw this in the patch notes and could help, but had to think the question
 "Added a new volcano mood.
 Introduction of new volcano terraforming."

What would you think of having new Lava planets open for PC?

I reckon a volcanic mood would be quite different from a fully fledged Lava planet

Temperate planets have volcanoes (Earth is a prime example). Adding a volcano mood for temperate planet no way implies lava planets are any closer.

I'm really excited for lava planets, ocean planets, cloud city on gas planets etc, but I want them to be done right. That means rivers of molten rock, crazy new maps, complexes designed for those environments etc. I don't expect to see these for many years (likely on next gen hardware). I would be incredibly disappointed if CCP used moods on existing maps to achieve this. We're a long way off from fighting on planets other than temperate. At least I hope we are. There is so much more to do on temperate planets (vegitation, water, caves, jungles, swamps etc.). Let's not put the cart before the horse.

 it also says volcano terreforming
just like when they added snow terraforming (snow on ground)
it might just be black rock or damaging lava

Not true, I'd imagine that Barren planets could be included with little (if any) change to existing complexes or map (maybe a different skybox to indicate an absence of atmosphere).

it would be cool, but anything you get in PC as far as gamemodes or maps are concerned, you should get elsewhere as well. only a small percentage of the DUST community plays in PC.

it's not new guys. They actually showed the volcano mood a couple times in codex private beta. Pretty cool to see really far out in the background. Although nothing will top the crashed laviathin mood.

 Nice responses.

Now no one has put a opinion towards may true question about adding planets to PC.

Or frozen planets with ice volcanos? I would be sooooooooooo tempting to recycle the code. One of those productivity vs. cheesiness calculations lol.
