One that would be used in cqc areas to prevent enemy passage. when an enemy walks into its AOE it would start to sap the players health.
-5 to shields per second -15 to armor per second.
These hives would have been designed during the caldari prime war, they were used within structures as a means of defense against gelente breach squads.
Their AOE would be around 8-10 meters, and would cost the same fitting amount as repair hives. They would also have a skull as an icon on the mini map.
These would only inflict damage to enemies to prevent briefing in faction warfare.

different types of hives that do different things.
something down the road maybe, but definitely a good idea

I'd like it, though visual cues might be an issue.
I myself foresee some fun builds that revolve around infiltrating an enemy group/stronghold and dropping a bunch of these killer nano hives amidst the enemies, causing havoc. |

+1 to this idea.
Only have one issue: they need to find a way to prevent these from being indestructible "inside" of objectives or similar fixtures.
I've seen way too much of that bullshit in matches recently - primarily with uplinks, which make it impossible to keep an objective without hives. (Killed a scout four times before I had to try clubbing him to death. It didn't go over well.) |

caldari repper tool shield transports
minmatar nano hives 8 m radius raises base speed while inside field by 12%

and non would be current model triage hives
