I was wondering if anyone has some interesting fits already in mind for 1.7 vehicles. Also, shout out to the vehicle fitting tool stickied above.
Here's a few of mine:
Python: Standard fitting:
- -: 2 Complex shield hardener, 1 Enhanced Booster or 1 Enhanced heavy shield extender -: Complex PG upgrade T: XT-1/AT-1 Missile
My standard fit I'm planning on using. Staggering the shield hardeners grants 4-6k of shield for one minute with a 15sec cooldown, the booster is for extra health in a pinch and the extender is for extra tank (l'll have to experiment to see which is better).
AA Python:
- -: 1x Complex Shield Booster, 1x Enhanced Heavy Extender, 1x Complex AB -: 1x Complex PG T: XT-1 Missile
My dogfighter. Tanky with good repairs, but not Tanky enough to engage infantry for long (I assume). AB for superior speed and maneuvering over enemy dropships.
Gunnlogi - -: 2x complex shield extender, 1x Enhanced Heavy Booster -: 1x Complex PG, 1x Cargo Ex T: Ion Blaster
Same strategy as my python fit: stagger hardeners and use booster for emergency hp. I don't tank much, but I thought I'd give it a go.
I had others, but I have to follow the 2 rules for success: 1: don't tell everything that you know...
So what are your ideas?

Fit diversity is gone. You have the same fit as everyone else. Lol CCP thinking removing small turrets would change anything.
So about those vehicle locks...

There is still room for some variation (active verse brick tanking) and remember, this is just bare boned basics and CCP will expand with different modules and vehicles in the future.

Lol. Once CCP removes something, especially vehicles, it never comes back.
So about those vehicle locks...

The Python fit I have planned pretty much just stacks shield extenders so I can focus on not crashing.
I guess I'm one of the few speccing into vehicles for this patch.
