Make it so that the higher your ranking for the corporation you're fighting for, the higher ranked the battle you are in. What I mean by that is: lower ranked players (i,e, team killers) will be in the low matches, while people who are serious about FW are in higher ranked battles. This will partially eliminate proto stomping (in FW) in the crossfire, because the more serious players are more likely to be using proto, and trying hard, meaning you wont have new berries in the battle against proto stompers.
Some people might build up their ranks just to TK, but that would be such a time grind, that it would take a days work to awox just one battle. Also, as for the orbital strike problem with hitting your teammates, maybe the team chat button will get some work here, or Q sync with some people if you don't like random people, or just place it carefully like you should.

Ah yes, let's keep the saboteurs down there with the new players and make sure they quit sooner and never come back. Brilliant! Another addition in my scheme to kill off this sorry excuse for a game.

Anyway, the motive of most of the TKers right now is to punish the proto stompers, and usually they are in support of newer players.
I wouldn't see the fun in killing new players anyway...

While getting TK'd will be an annoyance I have enough ISK saved up to not care so getting TK'd by a griefer wont really annoy me too much as I know they will get kicked pretty quickly unless they only kill 2-3 people per day to not get kicked but then they aren't particularly effective.
However there is another form of griefing that will be far more effective quite a few people have figured it out but most people are too worried about their KDR to realize the true danger lol.
TEST signature please help me think of a better one.

I wonder what it is...
Did they fix that thing where you could run people over with LAVs when you jumped out of them?

Yeah I know what you're talking about... *whispers* I won't tell anyone that you can get in a scout suit and hop on friendly grenades or in front of their bullets!
Also I'm referring to most proto stompers who are QQing about it now.

Good post is good
I think CCP Nulli said that faction war 2.0 will have match making so we wont have any stomps like there are now where people use it to avoid match making in regular matches but yeah, FW friendly fire is going to be fun for those of us who enjoy a good troll. |

I like this idea, fw matchmaking could down on constant griefing.
The Ellecon's come from a long line of Gallente. Tarn chose Peace. Tallen chose war.
