Ok first things first. Im a very happy person reading the dev blog. Only eve players will be able to drop a true orbital in faction war. Beautiful. The points system seems fair and the matches until max rank seems to be good as well. Only issue for me is I want the plasma cannon but am loyal to caldari x.x. Friendly fire will hopefully make people think about what their doing. Likely not though. People ramming my tank in lav's trying to be trolls will eventually get kicked, though I probably will too from them suiciding on my tanks when I rarely do run them. Finally no isk being rewarded! Means probably less protostomping within faction war and more reasonably fit suits.
My main suit goes for 9.5k, what about yours? Average proto suit is what, 200k a piece?

My suits range from 5k to 20k depending on the task in question. Loads of ISK means I don't give a fuuuuuck about loss, though I'm not desperate enough to use prototype gear. I like my standard scout. Pops in four shots or less, yo.

pretty much the same as me, but your not picking me up without a proto scanner and my suit is a bpo. Itd be around 12.5 k if it wasnt. still though, thats my fighting suit and I do very well in it. Details below

tty-3 assault scrambler pistol
flux grenades
This is the suit that I kill anything that comes close to me. This includes proto heavies in cqc. I play really agressive and a great vertical game though.

I have a range of fits that go for as cheap as ZERO ISK to as high as 90,000 ISK.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

Getting squads on team chat so you don't team kill them with orbitals is going to be tough. hopefully they have 16 man deploy

I am also looking forward to the new FW changes, although I'm a bit nervous about the friendly fire aspect. Good thing my suits are also cheap. I've got about 10 standard 'dragonfly' Gallente scout suit load outs for various tasks and they range from 8k to 14k. I use standard pistols so I can cram the best EQ and biotics on there as humanly possible.
I've got about 5 advanced suit builds but I never bring 'em out... 1 or 2 proto builds that I've never used. It's really helped save up the ISK, which I guess I'll need to participate in FW now given the lack of ISK payouts.... |
