Apparently race specific HUD's are on their way. How about some race specific ambient music to go with them?

You mean kinda like this...
Gallente - bit of euro vibe...Daft Punk-ish
Minmatar - bit of tribal beat with some rocking synth.
Amarr - something choral and obnoxious
Caldari - standard American football stadium rock (they bet a lot and love gladiator sports)
Just having a laugh - I really do dig the idea of more racial tones to the game. Be nice if we could pick racial themes from the settings one day. |

But on a serious note, EVE has some pretty cool ambient vibes that fit pretty well with each race. What little we have in Dust is pretty cool I'd like more of anything.

I like some of the audio tracks from eve. Why don't they just port the ambient and combat music from there and have an in-game audio player for you to play it while in quarters and combat tracks while in the field. Of course not all of them are ideal but i think it would be a start. You can already play tracks from the PS3 HDD. Still trying to find a reasonable rock theme for my minmatar merc as he fights the Amarrian slavers.
