Infantry doesn't want us to become unkillable, because they can't even use their brains. CCP doesn't want us to go back into vehicles, because they don't want to see infantry constantly complaining that they can't use their brains to blow us up.
Yes of course, its not because they sakd no full respecs ever or anything!

Everything != Vehicles
Thats why, change everything about vehicles changes you vehicle respec.
Thats why, change everything about weapons changes you weapons respec.
Thats why, change everything about dropsuit changes you dropsuit respec.
Thats why, change everything aboht EVERYTHING changes you EVERYTHING respec.

You don't get a full respec unless everything is changed, its vehicle changes therefore you get vehicle respec.

Simples ;) Your wrong tho They are completely changing the vehicle tree in 1.7 and making the SP sink bigger by a factor of 3 I choose my role 6months ago at least and was skilling into it, after i had maxed out my tree i went into infantry as a secondary role Now they are expanding the tree and making the sink bigger If i knew about this 6months ago i would have never gone infantry, but its too late, i made my choice and CCP decided to **** me over 6months later on I need a full respec because i wanted to go full on vehicle specialist, i did that once already but now CCP has decided that i need to more SP into it when its already been used

It's not their problem you put SP elsewhere.
But something to consider, spkr said you could max out the HAV relevant skills with 20mill SP. Now it takes 18mill to get one hull and one turret.
Do you not think they are trying to give you a hint here?
Since we have changed vehicles so much we are going to give users a respec, this is designed so they can choose the role their HAV will be capable of, as we suggested in the vehicle changes posts
They don't want you maxed out on tanks right away, they want you to take a specialization and stick with it.
Just like Infantry spec into 1 weapon 1 dropsuit and 1 role first.
I wouldn't expect a Proto Heavy to turn around and switch into Minja suit.
I wouldn't expect a Dropship Pilot to suddenly pullout a gunship.
And I wouldn't expect a tank to disappear, then reappear in whole new tank every time the threat re of war changes.
And before you say anything about assault suits, they are meant to be easily changeable weapons, but you rarely change suit

Wrong Infantry SP changes were done a long time ago before you could fully spec it out How is it my fault that i happened to finish the vehicle tree out and then skill up a secondary role Am i supposed to hold onto my SP for a year and a half just to see if something would turn up or change The game is a beta at best and things are changing and the vehicle shake up has been the biggest since release but only until all the vehicle pilots made up there minds, specced out the tree and then went to skill other things up Even me 32mil SP and counting will still not be able to max out the vehicle tree, i will be lucky if i get halfway through it but for that to happen i need a full respec, not because of my mistakes because i made none, but because of CCP mistakes deciding to completely change it all around 6months after we had decided what we picked and specced out the vehicle tree
Well I want the combat rifle, I saved my SP for that, for months, I've got a nice 500,000 sitting in the bank just waiting for 1.7
if I had spent that in vehicles because i had maxed out my desired weapons, I wouldn't expect that SP back.
I'll say it again and again until you get it.
Your SP you spent on Vehicles is being refunded because that is being changed, if CCP want to increase the grind to get the good **** that's their prerogative and you have to sit and deal with it, just like everyone else does.
Be glad your even getting a partial respec, CCP had said they would give no more.
