+1 for evolution. Sharks, btw, have evolved to be immune to cancer. They are the perfect killers. They don't even sleep!

both of those are myths, sharks rest and contract cancer.

Next time you're 20 feet from shore and get your arm ripped off by a great white shark, know that the ghost of Megaladon, a 60ft long and 77 ton prehistoric shark, is laughing at you because even after nearly 2 million years of being extinct, its status as the most powerful predator of all time still leaves impacts on the world at an evolutionary level.

Great white sharks evolved to hunt in coastal waters because hunting in the deep ocean was asking to be killed by a a predator that could bite the head off of a sperm whale (there is fossil evidence of this).

Next time you complain about how cold it is, stop, because if the Ice Age never happened, large whale populations would not have dropped, and megaladon would not have starved to death.

Also, if you could tell us why saber-tooth tigers had such teeth, that would be great, because I think they look impractical and part of me feels like they were similar in function to peacock feathers, while the other part of me wants them to pierce the jugular of giant sloths while the tiger watched it go unconscious in 5-8 seconds, and then eat its bowels while it was still alive.

Resting and sleeping are two different things. As for the cancer thing, I was referring to certain kinds, like bone marrow or similar. Great whites are immune to more cancers than any other creature in the world, so, therefore, I am correct, to a certain extent. lol
