3.Running in a squad constantly is EZ mode, you always end up being teamed up with other squads and get put against NPC corp players and solo players .. today has been so easy I was yawning whilst playing Maphia Clan earlier (Are only slightly challenging game but even then we won easily) .. are 1 squad and 10 randoms pushed them in their proto gear all the way back to A on Manus peak for the entire game and we weren't even protostomping.

After being banned for a month for making a thread laughing at a comment by a friend of General John Ripper (The guy said keep up the great work CCP and I said he was bottom(I used the naughty version for bottom) kissing) Yet GJR didn't get banned for using a 3rd party program to increase the number of likes he has ... LOL

Laughing at someone is disgraceful and you can get banned for it .. but it's fine to use outside software for your own benefit in game xD

What have I learned over my month away you ask ?

1.The appeal a ban system CCP have is terrible, I had to create a microsoft outlook server to send an email to them (I gave up that's too much effort) so I sent a help ticket .. which still hasn't been responded too .. when a ban can be implemented and end before CCP look at the appeal you know the system is broke.

2.Everything is alot more chilled when you don't read the forums, maybe it's because of all the trolls making it impossible to have a constructive discussion or maybe it's because less time spent on the forums means more time to do other things like look at pics of Kara Tointon

4.Using protosuits in public games is a waste of ISK .. now my core skills are close to being maxed I can get a STD Cal Medium Frame STD AR to 42 damage with 325 shields and 255 armour as well as compact hive SMG and grenades (25k suit) It's fun to use as it is only STD level so you at least give new payers a chance at killing you and you don't have ppl mailing you about going OTT in pub matches

5.Strafing Isn't dead, alot of people in this game have poor aiming and aim assist really isn't the OP EZ mode some people claim it is ... all day (apart from a few exception eg 13ear either you have the greatest aim ever or your using something you shouldn't be using, your recticle never left me at any point in any of our firefights and I was moving all over the place .. My aim is pretty good and even I can't keep my recticle on my enemies all the time but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt) I've been killing multiple enemies often in close succession by strafing as they can't adjust their aim well enough to get all their shots to hit.

6.After spending the past month playing around with dropships (I have a shed load of ISK now so wanted to try them out properley) they are a load of fun to use .. but hard to master .. if I got a full respec in 1.7 I'd spec into them but as it is I don't have the spare sp to stick 10-15m into them to use them effectively

7.Faction Warfare is alot more fun and challenging than public matches ! They seem to be alot more balanced and earlier we were in an awesome match with 2 different corps squads (1 was ours) on 1 side and 2 different corps squads on the other ... it was really close throughout the game and whilst they had a slight advantage in MCC damage we had a big advantage in clones and eventually we managed to win by cloning them before are MCC got destroyed

And a few questions I have for the community

1.How many of you would spec into vehicles if you were given a full respec in 1.7 ?

2.How many of you will be using your vehicle sp and sticking it into infantry instead ?

3.How many of you like the new feel of DUST with the lower TTK and how many of you hate it ?

4.Whats your experience of FW do you find it more challenging and balanced than Pubgames ?

TL;DR Ignore the 'what have I learned' points 1,2,3,4 as they are either relevant to people who know me or are topics widely discussed already on these forums and ignore the Italics as they are for people who know 13ear or 13ear himself

4) What FW faction do you play for? Unless I squad up through the PIE channel I find FW is not universally better balanced than pubs, but we all know that Amarr blueberries barely qualify as meatshields.

3) TTK is too low, doubt many people still playing this game disagree with that.

1,2) N/a and no.

p.s. Thank you for your comments on strafing and AA, too many people use that as an excuse for dying more than they used to. AA is very mild, and I for one appreciate the fact that it is no longer random chance whether or not my shots hit the target. TTK can be fixed another way, I don't want to live or die exclusively due to whether or not the server likes me that day.
