Hello, just a quick request -
How likely/possible is it for the leaderboards to have more than 1000 people listed? I thought that maybe it might give players more to strive for than just SP/ISK.
I like the idea of "chasing down" the fools above me, and I'm probably not alone. I'm not in it for the kdr, or w/l but more wp and total kills.
Sorry this post is awfully put and not too detailed, I'm using a really crappy work laptop, I will likely edit when I get home from my night shift.

ps. Will we ever see our stats that we lost playing skirmish during chrome?

I wouldn't worry about striving to improve your place on the leader board. Until you start quitting matches to preserve your K/D just like the top guys do, you'll always be far behind. And before someone makes the inevitable comment aabout them "working hard for it...I watched one of the top 5 guys do this. It's not coincidence that 2 matches in a row, he quit match once he dropped below 2.0. The hilarious thing to me is, he was running all proto both matches, he lost so much ISK it wasn't funny, but clearly it was the K/D he was chasing. With that kind of player at the top, the board is meaningless!

Better yet, they need to clean all the rabble off the current leaderboards. I'd say well over half the K/D leaderboard are inactive accounts that K/D farmed kills with sniper rifles just to get ranked.
My solution:
-Remove a player from the leaderboards if they fail to finish a game within 30 days. If they come back after 30 days and finish a game, they get their spot on the boards back.
-Make a 100 kill minimum to be eligible for the Leader Boards.
Who cares what some sniper has to say

Although I'm not interested in K/D, I am interested in "de-cluttering" the leaderboards!
I'd also like to see a couple of other stats, like ISK destroyed/spent of course, headshots, revives etc. Does anyone remember the video from fanfest this year where the three devs were passing a dualshock around and answering questions? every now and then a different dev would come on and chat a spell? Anyhoo, one of them said something along the lines of "we're going to put in new stats for the leaderboards, one day you'll log on and they'll be there"
so, any day now I guess!
