You start with 50, use them all, gain 18 suits (that's what I got)??
I don't get it? What was the trial for? Any stats collected? Any insight from it?
Those that didn't participate got 50 suits to sell, while those of us that used it for the sake of the event get less?
If yo want my feedack though, the BE is bad ass. |

I lost 5 suits and got 2 back.
They are pretty nifty suits but not for my playstyle.

Not bad, you achieved a 9:5 (1.8) KD ratio with those suits to have acquired that many. I can't say the same for the other black eagle users who were running around in that event eating my MD shells.
Personally I think CCP just wanted to have a hearty chuckle at how we were complaining about not getting those suits because we were active, so they give us free suits and chortle merrily as we die repeatedly.

I didn't use mine. I had decided to switch to a sidearm only play-style a few weeks before the event so I was like "shall I put 2 sidearms on the BE, just to continue my practice? Or just use the Dragonfly scout dropsuit....?" Not a hard decision, really.
I'm glad I got the suits though. Probably break 'em out when I've skilled into ARs and SGuns reasonably highly to maximize my use of the suit. And I was able to fit a complex shield mod on the standard BE suit with no other changes just to see if it would fit so fully skilled into the weapons and with a complex shield, I bet the suit would be awesome.

I lost 13 and received 5 in return. I love the black eagle suits having skilled into scout and intend to use them from time to time, had several bad proto stomp matches in a row and decided to save them for matches that are more evenly setup. |

What Doc said. For many it was a chance to try a new style of fighting with a sweet looking suit. Earning replacements back was just icing on the cake. Hopefully, CCP was look at the BE as a model for a light commando suit.

Yea, I had a blast with that suit. I fell in love with the SG AR combo. In the end, I did it for the event. You know it was awesome when I went up against other BE users. I'll pull them out again from time to time.
I also understand now that we were making isk by using free suits.
I'd love to trial a diff. suit. |

I liked how i actually used them. I had 10 back from chromo, and when i heard there were 50 headed my way, i was like yes, time to use these.
I ended up saving mine. I ended up with 55, going to sell at peast 5 in yhe far future, when player market comes out after the next world war...

I ended up with 18... dammit CCP make those Scout Commando suits; I want AR/SG/Stealth/Speed combo with mods and equipment already.. I know my corpmates where having a blast killing people using them. I tried to shame them, but they did not go for it.
Sorry for shooting you in the back. Now please look elsewhere so I can continue.

they filled the three slots with mods
that they may or may not change the base stats of (speed,shield,range)
or it may be a scout model for caldari/amarr scout
I believe one of these scouts will have 0 equipment and 2 light weapons

Not really sure why thus event was for.
It is probable it was Data, but the BE suits have been around quite a while. I dont believe the new scouts will have two Lights.
